Top 5 reasons to study with SirNicolay:

1. You're studying with a REAL teacher, a professionally-licensed teacher, who can teach you the photography lessons the EASIEST way possible. He has a lot of experiences with cameras and taking photographs himself. His portfolio of photos are all over the Internet. And being an English teacher, his communication skills are excellent. He has already taught more than 1,000 students in 3 years of teaching photography.

2. He offers, hands-down, the CHEAPEST photography lessons in Metro Manila. The promo packages being offered make the lessons even more affordable.

3. The schedule of lessons are the MOST FLEXIBLE you'll find. You can study one lesson course this week, another two weeks later, another even months later. You will be able to learn at your own pace, on your own free time.

4. The number of students are very minimal (maximum of 7-8, depending on the class). This makes the teacher focus on individual students' needs. He's available for critiquing and answering your questions regarding improving your photography skills even weeks or MONTHS after you took lessons with him.

5. Once you have paid for the course and just in case you forget your lessons weeks or months later, you can request for a refresher and sit-in for free!

  1. To say that James teaches Basic Photography classes well is an understatement.

I registered for his Photography 101 class armed only with enthusiasm to learn and my Nikon D40 cam, never mind if I had absolutely zero knowledge on the basics of photography and camera operations. The fee I paid for was minimal, and I kinda expected to learn only the basics. To my surprise, I greatly enjoyed the "class", learned the basics and much more! Teaching photography came naturally to James, since he is an English teacher by profession. He was generous enough to share personal tips that may help us take better photos. I got much more than what I bargained for. At 500 pesos, the class was definitely a steal!

After BDP class, I got hooked and took the rest of James' classes. Aside from the enjoyment of learning photography, I am also glad to have found new friends through the classes.

For all these, (Myles, I'll say it again) I will forever be grateful to James. :-)

  3. So much has been said about how great (concise, high-yield, cheap, simple, effective) the lessons are, and what an impressive (talented, effective, inspiring, etc) teacher James is.

I'm gonna keep this simple and say that James is a very *very* generous person. He unselfishly shares EVERYTHING he knows about making good photographs, and he is happy when his students are happy about the progress they have made.

This is why we keep coming back for more.

    :)

  4. i just have a question, the rates you stated above are only for one session? how many sessions do you conduct per class?

    eacrisanta@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  5. Yep, one session per class.

Another way of looking at it is that all of the courses I offer are part of one big Photography 101 lesson for people who are just beginning their passion for photography.
